
John Koyle was born in Heyburn, Idaho to a hardworking farm and ranch family. He grew up in Gooding, Idaho, where his childhood years were spent working there on the family farm. John started his finance career after he graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and a minor in Economics from Utah State University. He worked for ten years at a regional broker dealer where he became a partner in a group that managed over 200 million in assets.
John chose to join Red Cedar Wealth Advisors because he wanted to shift his focus from just asset management to overall financial planning. His practice is concentrated on delivering his clients a well-rounded vision of their financial future by providing services such as retirement planning, college planning, portfolio management, as well as life, health, and long-term care insurance. He also assists businesses in setting up full employee benefits, including 401(k) investments as well as life and health insurance products.
John loves the outdoors and especially enjoys riding horses and team roping. He regularly trains rope horses and competes in team roping events across the nation. John’s other hobbies include camping, fishing, movies, books, and music. He has donated time and funds to support such programs as the Idaho Civic Symphony, 4-H and FFA, The Academy at Roosevelt Center, and The Boy Scouts of America.
